Muller rates Bayern Munich’s chances of beating Man City on Guardiola reunion

Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller reckons the German giants have been given the toughest Champions League draw possible – but insists they have still got a 50/50 chance of beating Manchester City.

Muller said: “Statistically speaking, the match against City is probably the hardest draw we could have got in my opinion.

“If we played 10 games against each other the odds would probably be very even – and at Bayern, those odds are not to our liking.

“You don’t see such a strong influence of a coach on the direction of a team as much as you do with Guardiola. Teams coached by him are a goal threat with every attack. They always move the opponent around the pitch and it takes great strength to cope with that.”

Ten Hag slammed by Keys

Pundit Richard Keys has criticised Ten Hag once again after the United boss bemoaned the Premier League fixture schedule.

Marcus Rashford appeared to pick up a groin injury at the tail-end of the win over Everton and the United boss put the sheer amount of games played as a reason behind the strain.

Keys was having none of it and made his feelings on Ten Hag’s remarks crystal clear while addressing the Dutchman’s claims on BeIN Sport.

The presenter blasted: “Erik, as regards the scheduling and injuries, it’s the English Premier League. If you don’t like it, there is always of course Eredivisie, where you can go and ply your trade.”
